Buir Lake is a large freshwater lake located in eastern Mongolia on the border with China. It lies in the Khalkhgol district of Dornod Province and is one of the few lakes in Mongolia with abundant aquatic life and natural beauty. Its peaceful setting and ecological richness attract birdwatchers, campers, and travelers seeking untouched nature.
