Uvs Lake is the largest lake in Mongolia and a UNESCO World Heritage site, located in the far northwest near the Russian border. This vast saline lake sits in a closed drainage basin and is surrounded by spectacular natural landscapes, including sand dunes, mountains, and wetlands.
