Baldan Bereeven Monastery is a historic and sacred Buddhist site located in the scenic Baruun Jargalant River Valley of Khentii Province, Mongolia. Established in the late 18th century, the monastery was once home to thousands of monks and a major spiritual center in eastern Mongolia. Though partially destroyed during the 1930s repression, it is now being restored and visited for its peaceful setting, ruins, and revived spiritual life.
